Formed in 2012 in Washington, Corbé is a ceramic design studio owned by tow inspiring artists Kaitlyn and Ryan Lawless, in the comeback city of Detroit, Michigan, handcrafting porcelain wares that are simple and useful. The ceramic wares are inspired by mid-century design, traditional craft, and small-scale, American manufacture. The porcelain tabletop foundations honor the ingredients, people, and places at the heart of Corbé gratitude, to share their stories.

The collection of ceramic States was first released as a Kick-starter campaign in the summer of 2013. After two years, Corbé has perfected their whole map prototype and see it as a way to commemorate where Americans make their homes—specifically those who are makers, farmers, and laborers that convert their communities into richer, more creative places. These ceramic wares are microwave, oven and dishwasher safe.
