French furniture designer Marc Venot has created ‘Quetzal’, an impressive looking chair. He has graduated in maths and physics from Jussieu University, Paris. To create this unique handmade design, Marc overlapped 14 cushions that represent the Quetzal bird’s feathers. He opened his own studio in 2011.
Marc has used 14 overlapped bicolor i.e. having two colors pillows manage to create an amazing visual impact and provide the product with the unique feature of being able to change the main color of the armchair in the blink of an eye.” He works for furniture and product companies such as Normann Copenhagen, Thonet, Ligne Roset, Elements Optimal, Mastrad, Lexon.
